TIPS ON THE PHOTOGRAPH TO SEND FOR YOUR PORTRAIT
What kind of photo do you need for the portrait?
You can send me either a digital or printed photo. The clearer and sharper the image, the better the portrait will turn out. Please try to send the original photo, not a photo of a photo, and make sure it’s the best quality you have.
How do I send you a photo?
You can send your photo as an attachment through my email. I will email you back to confirm your photo has been received
Can I send separate photos to be combined into one portrait?
Yes, you can. I can use separate photos of people or pets and draw them together in one portrait.
TOO DARK!
If the photo has too much shadow it will be very difficult to create a well defined portrait likeness.
TOO MUCH LIGHT AND DARK CONTRAST
If the photo has too much contrast between light and dark it will diminish the details of the person face and make it impossible to do a great portrait.
PERFECT!
A photo that shows the face clearly, even with the right amount of light and shadow can make for a terrific portrait.
EVEN BETTER!
A photo that shows the intricacies of the character and personality really makes all the difference to a portrait.
NO WORRIES!
If you can't obtain a photo that is well defined I do use computer software to try to enhance the picture. However, the software's enhancement technology is limited, but I will try to use artistic license!
